Strathcona Gardens houses two indoor pools, hot tub, a waterslide, weight room and fitness studio, sauna, steam room, two ice arenas and leisure skating ice, and meeting rooms. These facilities are intended to serve the whole community. Families with low income can find out about the LIFE Program (Leisure is for Everyone) that entitles each family member to 104 free drop in’s and 50% discounts on up to 3 registered programs (including swim/skate lessons). The program has been designed to enable those with low income to develop healthy lifestyles through participation in a full spectrum of recreational options.
