This marine park is located off of Quadra Island. It is a 360-hectare remote marine park found at the entrance of Waiatt Bay. Octopus Islands Marine Park is perfect for boaters, outdoor wildlife photographers, scuba divers, kayakers and hikers. It has no facilities and wilderness camping is permitted. The Octopus Islands are most easily accessed from Quadra Island. This park is a series of campsites, resting areas, boating, paddling, swimming, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, wilderness camping and nature appreciation. A portage route to Small Inlet Provincial Park on the West side of Quadra Island can be accessed from the Octopus Island. Access to the park is by boat only. The 487-hectare park protects second growth forest and two small lakes.
