Elk Falls Provincial Park

Named after an impressive 80 foot (25 metre) waterfall, Elk Falls Provincial Park offers a host of biking and running trails.  Try Canyon View Trail, a favourite 6 km loop for families who walk, jog and mountain bike together.  Cross a canyon on an 80 foot walkway and watch white water rapids.  After hiking or fishing, take a refreshing dip in the swimming holes at the day use area in the park.   Other facilities include an adventure playground, a sports field, picnic areas, fresh water, and pit toilets.  Try having the kids bike/hike to the playground!  It makes a good child friendly destination!  The park is open all year.  Fees are collected for services May 1 to October 15.
